Pedestal Sink Covers How To Hide Ugly Pedestal Sink Pipe?
I have a master bathroom pedestal sink PVC pipe that is ugly and want to conceal it. I have seen a cloth that covers the PVC pipe that does an excellent job hiding the ugly pipe. Ideally, I would want the cloth to be a beige color. The question is where can I buy a 1 1/4" cloth cover for the PVC pipe?
I was more looking for a cloth that wraps arounnd the 1 1/4" PVC pipe. The best way to describe the cloth looks like a cloth similar to cotton that wraps around the pipe. Nothing fancy.
How do I attach a 1 1/4" sink trap to a 1 1/2" PVC pipe?
I'm installing a new pedestal sink. The sink has a 1 1/4" chrome drain and trap but the drain line sticking out of the wall is 1 1/2" PVC. The connector suggested by Home Depot glues over top of the PVC pipe and has a 1 1/4" threaded connector. But it sticks out too far to be covered by the box flange. Anything else out there? Thanks!
You need to get a 1 1/2 x 1 1/4 slip nut and washer. This will fit on the 1 1/4 chrome trap and will screw on the 1 1/2 pipe out of the wall. You can use an 1 1/2 PVC trap adapter on the pipe out of the wall. Hope it helps.
