Im looking at buying a house with nice dark cherry cabinets, black granite counter tops, tan travertine (spell?) flooring, and a little darker brownish carpet. i think you should consider a yellow, not vibrant but more of a popcorn butter yellow. I have cherry cabinets and accent them with matching wood work then other co lours we have in the room is a olive green that looks great and makes it pop hope this helps
