A Detailed Checklist for a Clean Bathroom
A bathroom, although perhaps small compared to other rooms in the house, has quite a few different surfaces that need specialized care. In addition, because of the germs present, you have to be certain to disinfect surfaces. It is most efficient if you work from the top to the bottom, and move around the room in one direction. To ensure that you don't miss cleaning anything in your bathroom, a checklist can be helpful. The following checklist can be used in two ways. Console Sink Tops Most awkward moment in your life?
What was the most awkward moment you ever had to go through? Explain in full detail.
Mine was probably when I picked up a girl from work with my car and she had a coffee cup with her, so she was looking for a place to put it. What happened next was so damn awkward that I just wanted to eject from my seat and die on impact as I crashed through the top of the car face first. While looking for a cupholder, she pressed something in the center console that made like a little flap open up and a few condoms fell out. My heart sank, and she looked at me and asked "What are these for?", to which I was like...
Ummmmmmmmm.............
Long story short, I did what any guy would do in a totally unpredicted, spontaneous, unaccounted for situation like that, and lied. I said they were my moms LOL!
Your turn.
This might be a "you had to be there", but you can be the judge.
So a few years back at homecoming........
Well of course you know most high school boys don't ask many girls to dance except their dates, and even then its just swaying back and fourth.
But I ballroom, and salsa dance frequently at social events so I'm used to getting asked to dance alot, even if I don't know them. So at homecoming I was a little bored with the dancing, and my date couldn't dance either.
Well...........there are chair lined up against the wall (very similar to how my dance venues are set up) and Me and some friends where sitting down. Now throughout the night the guys had been hanging their tux jackets on the back of the chairs, I hadn't really noticed this.
So then this boy comes over to me and starts to reach out his hand toward me, I on inpulse am used to this being a 'lets dance' type gesture, so I take his hand, and am getting ready to stand up, and notice hes not moving and looking at me very funny. I then noticed he was only reaching for his jacket, and simply shake his hand then sit back down.
He then goes over to his friends and starts talking and they look back at me laughing.........huh.............
it was alot worse if you were me.
Then I was getting tired of the constant glances, so I went over there, shaked each of their hands, introduced myself, then walked away.
Now I'm very good friends with two of them
Heat rises, cold sinks; how about humidity? Does humidity rise or sink?
Trying to ascertain proper placement of a console/evaporative humidifier in my home. Top floor or bottom floor .... not sure where it would be best suited. Thanks !!!
Humid air is air with a lot of water vapour not condensed water. Water vapour is a gas that is lighter than air so humid air is lighter than dry air. It might feel heavier but it isn't.
Heat does not rise, nor does cold sink. Denser air sinks replacing less dense air. Very often cold air is denser than warm air so it sinks but it is a question of density not temperature.
Warm humid air is usually less dense than the surrounding colder air so it will rise.
Vessel Sink Faucet Need to find an adapter for a foreign faucet?
We purchased a faucet on Ebay that is considered European. It comes with its own custom water lines (the braided hoses) which are m/f with a 5/8 connector. Most water lines are f/f so this is already a problem. on top of that, our water spouts are 3/8. We cannot find an adapter that would fit a 5/8 out and a 3/8 threaded in for Iron. We also cant change the water lines as they are custom fit for this faucet. We are having this issue with quite a few faucets we have looked at for our vessel sink. We went to Lowes and took out out of the box even, and it too is different. I thought 3/8 was standard so Im confused as to why even US made would vary. We really like the faucet and are trying to find a way to fix this issue. I am not a plumber so I apologize for the jargon. I have contacted the manufacturer and all they can do is issue me a partial refund which doesnt even cover the cost of a new one nor solves the problem.
It's probably the threading that is the problem. I know this is not what you want to hear, but re sell it, and get an "american" model?
