Iron Laundry
is it ok for pregnant women to do the laundry and iron clothes?
there's no one who'll take care my laundry and ironing clothes. i just don't want my mom to do the job for me because she's working all the time and she's also having a hard time to wash clothes. my husband doesn't want me to do ironing clothes but i want my clothes are ironed and cleaned. i can't go a laundry shop because i don't have enough budget for it. any suggestions?
Your question isn't really clear, but yes it is ok to do laundry. Unless you have specific directions from your doctor as to any limitations while you are pregnant. It is really a good thing to stay busy and do some safe exercises. The better health and shape you are in the easier your delivery will be.
Why can't you take care of your own laundry? Does your husband dictate everything that you can or cannot do?

How to Iron Clothes : Sorting Laundry for Ironing
My husband bought a Ralph Lauren button down shirt and it is so hard to iron. Do I throw it away?
In Germany, I cannot find laundry starch, and I sprinkle water on the shirt to make it easier to iron, but to no avail! I want to throw the thing out-should I ask him if this is OK, or do I tell him he can only wear it every once in awhile?
Well I do live in Germany and they sell laundry starch in EVERY grocery store (cleaning section)as well as in every drug store. Another easy way would be to put the shirt on a hanger and steam it with your iron (if it has the steam function).
Throwing it away would be a waste!
